Meet Attorney Kristin N. Gilbert

Attorney Kristin N. Gilbert is a graduate of William & Mary School of Law (J.D.) and The Ohio State University (B.A. magna cum laude with Honors, Majors: Political Science and French; Minor: Business).

Throughout her life, Mrs. Gilbert has been known for her keen attention to detail and her commitment to fighting for what is right. Mrs. Gilbert’s interest in business law and criminal law were further developed when Mrs. Gilbert put her skills to work in doing legal research for a renowned criminal law professor at William & Mary and reviewing and editing scholarly works as an Articles Editor for the William & Mary Business Law Review.

Mrs. Gilbert moved to the Eastern Shore in 2010 and served as law clerk to the Honorable Kathleen L. Beckstead, then Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Wicomico County in Salisbury, Maryland. Immediately following her clerkship, Mrs. Gilbert joined a prestigious law firm in downtown Salisbury where she honed her talents for over a decade before opening Gilbert Law, LLC.

In addition to serving clients, Mrs. Gilbert is an Adjunct Professor of Legal Studies at Salisbury University, where she teaches business students on all matters of law.

Mrs. Gilbert’s background and legal experiences provide a unique framework which benefits both business clients and client charged with criminal offenses. Mrs. Gilbert’s philosophy is that preparedness and attention-to-detail are critical to reaching the best possible outcome for the specific client and that client’s personal interests.

Mrs. Gilbert is licensed to practice in Maryland’s State and Federal Courts, Virginia, and D.C.
